I have been fortunate to work with and learn from some very sharp people. This includes the staff here at QuanTEM many who have been with us for several years. When times are tough, they pick up the pace without being told and move forward.
My past experience with laboratories has not always been a positive experience. In many cases the labs would treat their customers as second-class citizens. Putting in some extra effort to assist their customers was just not in the cards.
Upon coming to QuanTEM we made it a point to know that our customer comes first. They are the reason we all get to sleep inside and enjoy three good meals each day. For the last 30 years we worked diligently to ensure that we are there for you, it’s our job to help you take care of your customer.

Ingrid Gumbs-Diaz
Director of Resources and Strategic Partnerships
Ingrid Gumbs-Diaz is the Director of Resources and Strategic Partnerships at QuanTEM Food Safety Laboratories. With 23 years in sales and marketing and over six years of laboratory bench work, she blends scientific expertise with business strategy to drive growth and innovation. She holds a Biochemistry degree from Oklahoma State University and an MBA from Oklahoma City University. Originally from San Juan, Puerto Rico, Ingrid is passionate about building strong, lasting client relationships nationwide.
Her experience includes the beverage and meat industries, as well as biochemistry and environmental quality laboratory services. With a deep understanding of the food industry, she has been instrumental in expanding QuanTEM’s Food Safety Department, driving double-digit revenue growth, and establishing new strategic partnerships nationwide. Her leadership extends beyond sales—she plays a critical role in optimizing laboratory operations, streamlining processes, and enhancing the day-to-day lab environment to ensure efficiency, accuracy, and regulatory compliance.
Ingrid specializes in client onboarding, compliance, cost-saving initiatives, and program implementation. She manages all trade show participation, strengthened cross-department collaboration, and introduced new service offerings that have improved client retention. Certified in HACCP training, allergens, and mold investigation, she also has expertise in shelf-life studies, pricing strategies, and profit analysis.
As one of the senior founders and leaders of QuanTEM Food Safety Laboratories from its inception, Ingrid has been instrumental in shaping its vision and success. She is dedicated to reinventing customer relationships by providing more than just lab results—she cultivates strong partnerships and customized service solutions that help clients succeed. Whether working on food safety initiatives or developing new business strategies, she is committed to delivering excellence and innovation in every aspect of her role.
Cameron Kedy
Director of Technical Services
Cameron Kedy serves as the Director of Technical Services at QuanTEM Food Safety Laboratories, where he oversees all aspects of laboratory operations and ensures compliance with ISO 17025 standards. With a diverse background in food safety microbiology, chemistry testing, research, and laboratory management, Cameron brings a wealth of expertise to every facet of the lab’s operations. His responsibilities include overseeing operational decisions, supervising microbiological and chemical analyses, developing and validating analytical methods, and managing a skilled team of laboratory personnel. Cameron also plays an integral role in client support, ensuring personalized service and clear communication to meet the specific needs of each customer.
With a strong foundation in research, Cameron has co-authored publications in PLOS ONE, Polymers, and Microbiology Resource Announcements. He leverages extensive experience in microbiology, food safety, and regulatory requirements to uphold the highest standards of quality and precision in QuanTEM’s analytical processes. Through his leadership and dedication to scientific excellence and client-focused service, QuanTEM Food Safety Laboratories has become a trusted partner for food safety testing, delivering accurate results and tailored solutions to hundreds of clients across the United States.
